On our most recent episode, we were lucky enough to have a chat with the incredibly passionate boxing promoter, Lou DiBella, who joined us to discuss all things boxing, on yet another Zoom call – one of many hundreds of Zoom calls that the Hall of Fame promoter has done since the emergence of COVID-19!
Lou spoke to us all about how different the popularity of boxing is in the United States compared to that of the UK and told us all about the fact that boxing records these days are often superficial and padded; he even described to us how he could get a ham sandwich to 20-0 with a bit of “clever” match making…
Throughout our interview with Lou, his passion was evident and this man has been around the sport of boxing longer than some members of our panel have been alive! This man knows his stuff and talks in pure; brutal honesty about the sport we love.
If you want to hear what the state of boxing is across the pond, or if you want to hear what Lou DiBella thinks of fighters and the perfect zero loss record; or even if you want to hear Lou’s thoughts on fighters coming out of retirement, then this episode is a must-listen for you!
Alongside the points already mentioned, we also discussed with Lou the hardest fights to make, the problems with exclusive deals in boxing, the life span of PPV events and much, much more.

Many thanks to Lou DiBella for giving up his time to speak with us!
